The IPY Oslo Science Conference will demonstrate, strengthen, and extend the International Polar Year's accomplishments in science and outreach. The conference is an essential opportunity to display and explore the full breadth and implications of IPY activities.

The 2010 European Space Agency Living Planet Symposium follows the previous successful ENVISAT Symposia in Montreux (2007), Salzburg (2004), Gothenburg (2000), Florence (1997), Hamburg (1993) and Cannes (1992).
The Symposium will provide an opportunity to present future ESA missions in development (GMES Sentinels, Earth Explorers and meteorological missions) and national EO missions. Deadline for Registration is March 2010.
On the occasion of the 5th EO Summer School on "Earth System Monitoring & Modelling", the "European Space Agency" (ESA) would like to invite young researchers to join leading experts in Earth Observation, Modelling and Data Assimilation for keynote lectures, hands-on computing practical and poster sessions. The EO Summer School will be held in ESRIN (Frascati, near Rome), 2-13 Aug 2010. Applications should be made on-line no later than 15 March 2010.
